Purchase leader, part-time, finance assistant, accounts assistant, Accounts payable Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk City Centre Office | 3 Days/Week | £30,500 (FTE), £18,300 (Pro Rata) We’re seeking a meticulous and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team in a Belfast City Centre technology company. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience who values flexibility and precision. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices and match to purchase orders and delivery notes Code and input invoices accurately into the accounting system Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare supplier payments (BACS, CHAPS) in line with schedules Handle supplier queries professionally and promptly Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments Assist with month-end and year-end accruals and reporting Complete daily bank transactions and weekly bank reconciliations Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable Strong numerical and data entry skills Solid understanding of invoice processing and reconciliation Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage) Excellent communication and time management skills What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
