Responsible for leading all operational aspects of and assisting the transition of the business through franchising in the region.
Responsibilities
* Previous experience of working in Franchising is essential, ideally in the public transport sector.
* The role will involve working closely with the relevant management teams across the business to ensure a seamless transition during periods of change.
* You will need to have strong leadership skills to manage and motivate your team throughout this challenging period.
* Communication will be key in this role; you will need to keep stakeholders up-to-date on progress and address any concerns they may have.
* Ensuring minimal disruption to our services will also be a top priority, so you will need to think creatively to find solutions to any problems that arise.
* Managing risk and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations will also form part of the role.
* Report writing will be required along with preparing for presentations to senior management.
Experience And Qualifications Desired
* This role requires experience of managing people and projects, ideally within the transport industry.
* Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, both written and verbal.
* A background in operations or project management would be beneficial but not essential.
* A degree in Business Administration or similar would also be advantageous.
* Experience in delivering high quality customer service would be desirable.
* Confidence in dealing with Senior Management and being able to influence decision making processes is essential.
* A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
