Job Description
Working closely with our Placemaker teams, you will help deliver an excellent workplace experience for our customers.
You will also support the contract management team in delivering and developing service solution systems, with a focus on identifying opportunities for service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
2. Coordinate rostering of facility Placemakers to ensure sites are manned to contractual requirements, including covering sickness and planned absences.
3. Ensure all documents - such as audits, COSHH, H&S records and SOPs - are completed, kept up to date and reviewed at the required intervals.
4. Support effective recruitment, training and development of frontline Placemakers.
5. Deliver all services in a commercially responsible and cost-efficient way.
6. Record all customer queries and complaints in line with the customer complaints procedure.
7. Complete all required periodic reporting, paperwork and administrative tasks on time.
8. Maintain rigorous cost control within agreed plans, including materials, consumables, pay and agency labour usage.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Supervision experience within a facilities or cleaning services environment.
10. Strong supervisory and organisational skills, able to work independently while following management guidance.
11. Ability to understand how service outcomes impact overall contract delivery.
12. Demonstrated ability to manage business performance to achieve successful outcomes.
13. Identifies service improvement opportunities by reviewing service levels against customer and contractual expectations.
14. Strong problem-solving skills with resilience in addressing operational challenges.
15. Effective and confident communication skills.
16. Experience monitoring and reviewing individual and team performance to ensure goals and targets are achieved.
