We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Advisor to support patients receiving Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) through a specialist outpatient homecare service.
This flexible bank role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care, education, and ongoing support to patients living with complex nutritional needs, enabling them to safely and confidently manage TPN therapy in their own homes and community settings.

Main duties of the job
The Role
You will support patients receiving TPN within a specialist outpatient homecare service, providing clinical care, education, and follow-up from therapy initiation through ongoing management. Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care in home and community settings.
As a Bank Clinical Nurse Advisor, you will deliver services in line with agreed standards and support continuity of care as required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality clinical care in line with service protocols
Provide education and ongoing support to patients, families, and carers
Support therapy initiation, follow-up, and ongoing assessment in home settings
Promote patient independence, confidence, and adherence to treatment
Work collaboratively with dietitians, pharmacists, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Identify and escalate adverse events in line with policy
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and activity reporting
Uphold clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
Complete mandatory training and maintain professional registration and CPD
