Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 with a 3% commission on treeplotter products.
Hours: 37 hours per week – (would consider a part time role).
Location: Goetre Villa, Bwlchllan, Ceredigion, Wales, SA48 8QJ.
Preferred Ceredigion/Pembrokeshire based but we will consider remote working or hybrid options.
The post also requires visits to Bwlchllan office and nursery.
Some travel for trade shows and for community planting events (occasionally you may be asked to work at other locations for short periods).

Woodland Dwelling is a small family consultancy based in Wales with remote home‑based teams in Newport and Sheffield. We work with clients across the UK and with an urban forestry network across the globe. We work with local authorities, NGO’s, community groups, academics and private businesses, to promote good urban forestry management. We collaborate with our US partner to support TreePlotter Inventory, TreePlotter Parks, TreePlotter Canopy, and production of 3.30.300 mapping with clients across the UK.
Our work with local authorities and communities involves providing practical and strategic advice, as well as empowering more community engagement and tree planting across the UK.
About the role
The role is currently split between the two areas we specialise in:
* Working with Communities across the UK to improve tree cover through community planting and Urban Forestry.
* Working with Councils, Housing Associations and other clients to bring technology to help them improve their urban forestry programs.
The role would also include growing the business with a focus on greening schools.
Responsibilities
* Supporting local authority clients, NGOs and community groups acrossthe UK to improve urban forestry programs.
* Organising and running community tree planting events and communityengagement.
* Growing our new greener schools program, including onsite atWoodland Dwelling, where we are currently building an outdoorclassroom.
* Opportunity to manage our on-site nursery. The nursery is currentlycapable of growing around 3000 small standard trees (8-10s), primarilyfor the projects we deliver directly, as well as a growing number ofclients.
* Helping manage our site, for example(Longer term, we have aspirations to manage ourwoodland for local charcoal production, and will be sourcing grantfunding to support this).
* Look for opportunities to expand work with current clients and locally inWales.
* Occasionally assisting with training of small groups.
* Attend conferences and events to showcase our capabilities.
