This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer, based in Newport. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing gas central heating systems, boilers, and other associated appliances in commercial and domestic properties. Responsibilities also cover conducting safety inspections, performing plumbing tasks, and supporting building maintenance efforts. The Gas Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve faults, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications
* Experience and expertise in LPG and Central Heating systems
* Proficiency in Plumbing and Building Maintenance
* Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair of gas appliances and heating systems
* Relevant certifications such as Gas Safe registration are required
* Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently on-site
* Good communication skills and adaptability to work effectively in various settings
