Hours are on a rota basis between 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday Occasional weekend and evening shifts Operatives are expected to do a week on evening shift 11am - 8pm and a week where they work half a day Wednesday and half a day Saturday Day to day duties for an Electrician Responsive Repairs: Attending day-to-day electrical faults in occupied properties — no power, tripping circuits, broken sockets, faulty lights, immersion issues, extractor fans, etc. Planned Electrical Works: Carrying out scheduled maintenance such as emergency light testing, smoke/heat detector checks, and fixed-wire inspections across BPHA properties.
