Overview
Senior Technical Lead role at Graphics Unlimited (Vic) Pty Ltd. The position focuses on secure, scalable, and resilient digital services with emphasis on cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
* Lead on technical decisions within the Security Ecosystem team and drive secure development across AWS, Azure and SaaS platforms.
* Design, implement, administer and support security products and services, ensuring adherence to Digital Security Standards and Architectural Principles (on premise and in the cloud).
* Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams, advise senior stakeholders, and ensure products are secure, stable and aligned with best practices.
* Work hands-on with the business and SMEs to define use cases and develop security alerts across multiple tools (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Security), providing threat detection and response capabilities.
* Promote secure by design principles and engage in threat hunting, purple teaming and DevSecOps activities.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong working knowledge of cyber security controls across all layers of an organisation, with design experience in defence-in-depth strategies.
* Experience implementing enterprise security tooling and platforms aligned with the NIST cyber security framework or equivalent, and CIS security controls.
* Proven ability to analyse complex information, identify problems and recommend improvements; capable of absorbing conflicting data to determine solutions.
* Extensive experience designing, implementing, administering and supporting security products and services in both on-premises and cloud environments.
* Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and developing security alerts across multiple tools.
Details, Wages and Benefits
* Location: Digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield (hybrid by arrangement).
* Hybrid Working: Hybrid model; part of the time at home and part in a hub.
* Pay: Up to £89,995.
* Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97% (approx. £21,000 per year).
* Holidays: 26 days rising to 31 days with time off in lieu options and public holidays.
