Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Loughborough)
We are currently seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Loughborough on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in secondary education who is an experienced educator or a recent graduate with a strong subject background, this is your chance to make a real impact in the classroom. Must be confident in managing a classroom and supporting pupils’ learning in the absence of the class teacher.
The Role:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
* Follow school policies and procedures
* Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
* Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Requirements:
* Understanding of the KS3/KS4 curriculum
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Confidence leading a class independently
* Adaptable, professional, and reliable
* Experience in education or a genuine desire to work with young people
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) — on the Update Service or willing to apply
* Minimum GCSE qualifications for roles below Cover Supervisor level
