We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Commercial Lead to lead and oversee the commercial function of a high‑value project ranging from £100 to £200 million within our commercial office / mixed use data‑centre MEP sector in Slough.
What you’ll do
* Involvement in PQQs and bid strategies.
* The Commercial Lead plays a crucial role in Skanska’s tendering governance, providing comprehensive support to address contractual and commercial issues.
* Contribute to identifying and managing risks and opportunities in construction projects as part of the ORA within the Skanska Tender Approval Procedure (STAP).
* Strategic risk identification, mitigation planning, and acceptance criteria definition.
What you’ll bring to the role
* Experience working on large projects £100m+ as Commercial Lead or similar leadership position.
* Experience in JCT, NEC, FIDIC or equivalent contracts.
* Detailed working knowledge of contract/commercial law.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Significant customer‑facing experience.
* Experience with large and complex claims.
* MRICS qualification highly desirable; degree‑educated in a relevant subject.
