About the role
We are recruiting for a Supply Planner Promotions role at our head office in Hemel Hempstead and Equity House, Wellingborough. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 remote days after induction.
The main responsibility is managing the end-to-end planning and flow of stock for promotional activities into our distribution network, ensuring timely delivery to branches and customers.
You will be responsible for
* Ensuring maximum stock availability during promotional activities.
* Adhering to critical timescales and escalating issues appropriately.
* Managing stock flow from distribution centers to branches and customers.
* Loading and releasing allocations accurately.
* Identifying causes of stock availability issues and communicating key issues clearly.
* Analyzing data, producing reports, and providing recommendations.
* Responding to queries and supporting seasonal events and clearance activities.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage trading activities.
* Ensuring compliance with GSCOP timelines and our Business Code of Conduct.
You will need
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems.
* Strong attention to detail, report writing, data interpretation, and record keeping.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and analytical ability.
* Knowledge of relevant markets and market developments.
* Flexibility in work approach and quick learner of new technical skills.
* Relevant experience, ideally in FMG, but not essential.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Experience working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills.
