Senior UX Designer – SC Eligible
Location: Wokingham, UK
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Day Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join a high-performing digital delivery team working on complex, user-centred platforms within a secure environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a UX professional who thrives in collaborative Agile teams and is passionate about designing intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping end-to-end user experiences across enterprise-scale applications, from discovery and research through to prototyping and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Design & Strategy
* Lead end-to-end UX design activities including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
* Develop user journeys, personas, interaction flows, and design concepts
* Define and maintain UX standards, best practices, and design consistency
* Deliver intuitive and user-focused experiences across digital products
User Research & Validation
* Conduct interviews, usability testing, and user research activities
* Translate research findings into actionable design improvements
* Validate concepts through iterative testing and stakeholder feedback
Collaboration & Delivery
* Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
* Present and communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Accessibility & Compliance
* Ensure designs meet accessibility standards including WCAG
* Support delivery within secure environments requiring SC eligibility or active SC clearance
* Contribute to inclusive and compliant digital experiences
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio of delivered digital products
* Strong expertise in:
* User-centred design
* Interaction design
* Accessibility standards (WCAG)
* Usability testing and prototyping
* Experience working within Agile delivery environments
* Proficiency with tools such as:
* Figma
* Adobe XD
* Sketch (or similar)
Preferred Experience
* Experience working in secure or regulated environments
* Previous experience on enterprise or public sector digital transformation programmes
* SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance
