We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Waverley Vets. The role is ideally full-time, covering 3 days at our branch in Chiddingfold (Woodside Veterinary Clinic) and 2 days at our main branch in Godalming. You will be sole charge and have the opportunity to run nurse clinics and be involved in all aspects of veterinary care at the Woodside clinic.
At the main branch in Godalming, you will work as part of our fantastic team, engaging in all aspects of veterinary surgery, from patient care to answering phones. You will have a dedicated main operating nurse day, involving tasks such as placing catheters, taking blood, running blood tests, preparing the theatre for surgery, organizing the day, and post-surgery cleaning and tidying.
Our rota
The typical working week averages 38.5 hours: Monday to Wednesday 8:45am - 5:15pm at Chiddingfold, Thursday 10:30am - 6:30pm, and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm at Godalming, plus Saturday mornings (1 in 4) from 8am - 12pm. You will receive a 1-hour unpaid lunch break; flexible or shorter lunch breaks can be discussed. The rota remains consistent weekly, aiding in work-life balance. No OOH. We are open to flexible hours and part-time applicants.

Our equipment
At Woodside Veterinary Clinic, Chiddingfold, we have biochemistry blood testing, microscopes, a theatre, and urine testing tools. At Godalming, we have up-to-date IDEXX laboratory machines, X-ray and dental radiography facilities, ultrasound, fluid warmers, drip pumps, ECG, and blood pressure monitors.
