A leading global investment bank is currently recruiting for a Structured Credit Structuring Analyst to join its Global Markets division on a permanent basis, focused on delivering tailored credit solutions to a Financial Institution client base.
The newly created desk is based in London and offers hybrid working, (3 days on site per week) with close collaboration across Front Office trading desks, sales teams, risk, legal and support functions.
This is a high-impact hire within a fast-paced structuring team, requiring an individual who can support end-to-end deal execution, contribute to product development and act as a key interface between Sales and Trading.
They are seeking a technically strong and commercially aware Structuring professional with experience across credit products and a strong understanding of derivatives and financial markets.
This role would suit an Intern or Analyst on the same desk at another bank or similar such as fixed income structuring.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Structuring & Product Development
* Collaborate with Sales teams to originate and structure credit solutions for investment and hedging purposes
* Support pricing and structuring of transactions across credit and cross-asset products
* Prepare marketing materials, pitch books and client documentation to support business development
* Respond to client enquiries and develop tailored solutions aligned to client objectives
* Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activity to support product innovation
Execution & Deal Management
* Support end-to-end execution of transactions from pre-trade structuring through to post-trade follow-up
* Coordinate with Trading desks to ensure accurate pricing and efficient execution
* Monitor deal pipelines, manage transaction workflows and ensure timely delivery
* Provide best-in-class service standards throughout the transaction lifecycle
Risk Management & Governance
* Ensure all transactions adhere to internal risk frameworks, pricing policies and compliance standards
* Work closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to validate structures and ensure regulatory alignment
* Identify and assess market, credit, operational and reputational risks within transactions
* Ensure solutions are appropriate and aligned to client objectives
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
* Act as a key interface between Sales, Trading, Risk, Legal and Operations teams
* Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth transaction execution
* Engage with clients to provide technical explanations and support product discussions
* Work closely with global structuring teams to share insights and enhance idea generation
Process & Platform Development
* Contribute to improving internal tools, pricing frameworks and deal workflows
* Support automation initiatives and development of structuring tools where applicable
* Maintain accurate reporting of pipeline activity, execution and exposures
Team Context & Environment
* The Structuring team operates at the centre of the Front Office, working closely with Sales and Trading
* The role offers strong exposure to clients, markets and complex financial products from day one
* The environment is highly collaborative, fast-paced and technically demanding, requiring strong attention to detail
* The successful candidate will gain experience across multiple asset classes and global teams
The Ideal Candidate
* 1 – 3 years’ experience in structuring, derivatives, or financial engineering
* Strong understanding of credit products, derivatives and financial markets
* Experience supporting pricing, execution or product development within a Front Office environment
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in Excel and financial tools (Bloomberg experience preferred)
* Programming skills (Python, VBA) beneficial but not essential
* Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
