Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Sociology lessons to secondary school students.
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work in accordance with the curriculum.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Support the development of students' critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the delivery of Sociology across the school.
* Contribute to the wider school community and take part in extra-curricular activities as required.
Requirements
* A degree in Sociology or a related field.
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A passion for Sociology and teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience teaching Sociology at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
