Are you passionate about outdoor learning and skilled in vocational education? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Outdoor Vocational Teacher to join a well-respected agricultural college near Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage learners in practical, hands-on education in a unique and inspiring environment.
The Role:
* Delivering vocational courses in outdoor and land-based subjects (e.g., agriculture, animal care, horticulture, countryside management).
* Planning and delivering engaging, practical sessions aligned with vocational standards.
* Supporting students with a range of learning needs, including SEN and SEMH.
* Promoting employability, independence, and life skills through real-world learning.
* Working collaboratively with college staff to maintain high standards of teaching and pastoral care.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience teaching or instructing in vocational or outdoor education (e.g., agriculture, animal care, land-based studies).
* A relevant teaching qualification is desirable (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent), but not essential for the right candidate.
* Confidence working with learners aged 14–19, including those with additional needs.
* Practical experience in outdoor/agricultural settings.
* Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong commitment to learner development.
