Job Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Ponteland, England (North East)
Type: Temporary (potentially permanent).
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00; Friday 08:30 – 14:00.
Salary: £13.00 per hour.
Immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cut‑out parts and components according to drawings, instructions, or work orders.
- Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, defects, or damage before assembly.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, or basic machinery to complete assembly tasks.
- Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report faults, defects, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments as required.
