Early Years Practitioners (x2) – Jesmond
We are currently seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join a friendly nursery setting in Jesmond.
This role offers the potential to become permanent, should it be the right fit for both the educator and the nursery.
Location: Jesmond
Position: Early Years Practitioner (x2)
Pay Rate: £13.95–£14.50 per hour
Working Hours:
Typically 3 days per week: 8:00am – 6:00pm
1 day per week: either 8:00am – 5:30pm or 8:30am – 6:00pm
About the Role:
Support children in their early learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Carry out observations and contribute to assessments and planning.
Work closely with nursery colleagues and parents to support children’s wellbeing and progress.
Requirements:
CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential).
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
