O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a new commercial project in Chorley. Candidates MUST have civils/groundwork experience and must have at least 5 years' experience in a site engineer role. The Role: -Reviewing, coordinating and ensuring accurate setting out according to the construction drawings, specifications and overall Works Requirements. -Reviewing material and works specifications including developing Technical Submissions -Reviewing construction Methodologies and ensuring compliance with specifications. -Manage and coordinate subcontractor daily/weekly progress meetings, workshops and follow through with planned actions. -Reviewing, maintaining and controlling site records and contemporaneous records relating to works, installation, materials and labour. Requirements: -Degree in Civil Engineering or similar qualification -At least 5 years of experience working with on groundwork/civils projects as a site engineer -Experience with drainage, Pilling, kerbing, foundations, steel frames, roads, etc. -Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination. -Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
