Introduction
Are you green fingered and love being outdoors? We are on the lookout for gardening volunteers who can bring this passion to our gardening team and support us to care for our wonderful gardens here at Rowcroft.
This role is essential to help us maintain the beautiful, peaceful gardens at the hospice which offer comfort and beauty to our patients and their visitors. You will be volunteering with the estates team under the guidance of our estates coordinator or head gardener, or possibly a nominated volunteer.
As a volunteer gardener you can take on a variety of activities according to your level of confidence, experience, and area of interest – no experience is required.
We are creating a volunteer garden team, who will work together on our current projects which includes restoration of our arboretum and orchard as well as tending our flower beds and general garden maintenance across our beautiful estate. (and of course enjoy a cuppa and the gardens together afterwards!)
