Our Values

Our Mission

To continue to grow the business, increase diversity, improve efficiency, and be a responsible employer, creating a business culture that reflects our Core Values.

Our Focus

What is the Role

An opportunity has arisen in our Longbridge office for an Architect to work in the industrial logistics sector. The role would ideally suit an individual motivated to work with our major clients on a varied selection of projects across the country.

The role will entail:

3. Visiting sites to gain an appreciation of the context and to carry out the necessary analysis.
4. Masterplanning sites, maximising their potential to meet our clients’ ambitions.
5. Producing feasibility studies to tight deadlines, to enable the client to make informed decisions.
6. Producing information packs for planning which meet local requirements.
7. Co-ordinating with our internal CGI team images of the development when required.
8. Attending upfront stakeholder meetings to add detail to the project brief.
9. Leading on the production of Design & Access statements and planning approval requirements.
10. Working on tender drawings, ensuring the project retains its design through value engineering and variations to the brief.
11. The production of drawings, mainly in Revit, but occasionally AutoCAD.
12. Working in small project-based teams within a larger office environment.

Skills Required

* Experience leading projects, ideally in the industrial sector, but experience in the commercial sector is also relevant.
* Proven proficiency in Revit on construction projects and a good understanding of the package (please note there is a Revit assessment as part of the interview process).
* Very good oral communication skills to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders.
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
* Openness to constructive feedback to support your development.
* Accountability for the information produced, ensuring it meets technical standards.
* Excellent written skills and ability to produce well-structured drawings.

You will be supported by our Senior Management Team (Partners and Studio Directors), Marketing & PR, IT, HR, and Accounts, with coaching provided to help you succeed. You will also be introduced to our existing client base to develop opportunities and add value.

* 34 days holiday annually (including 10 pre-allocated days).
* Hybrid working policy – up to 2 days working from home per week.
* Performance reviews three times a year.
* Monthly 1:1s with your line manager.
* Cloud operating system, providing data centre-backed support, not limited to your laptop’s power.
