Overview
JOB PURPOSE: A self-motivated person capable of delivering superior customer service by demonstrating a high degree of leadership, flexibility and a conscientious approach to getting the job done. The job holder will be fully conversant with and conform to company procedures and will ensure company instructions, standards of discipline, workmanship and safety of themselves and the workers under their direct control are maintained at all times. Your role will also include you conducting and assisting with operational staff training & development.
Education & Training
* Literate and numerate.
* GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent standard desirable.
* Candidate will obtain valid LGV (category C or C+E).
* Candidate will obtain valid Drivers CPC Certificate.
* Compliant with established legal tachograph procedures.
* Attended Basic Practical Course and passed assessment.
* Attended Advanced Packing Skills Course and passes assessment.
* Attended Supervisory/Team Leader Skills Course and passed assessment.
* Attended Customer Service training (as available).
* Attended Introduction to Management training (as available).
* Attended Health & Safety/Risk Assessment training (as available).
* Attended FLT training, where applicable.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the safe loading & unloading of vehicles or storage containers.
* Handling customers to a superior level of service delivery.
* Run high value Corporate moves, including office/commercial moves.
* Carry out VIP customer service visits to ensure superior level of service is implemented.
* Carry out quality audits, including warehouse activities.
* Ensuring timetables and service expectations are maintained.
* Directing and controlling team members.
* Ensuring Company instructions and standards of discipline, workmanship and safety (including accident reporting) are maintained at all times.
* Ensure compliance of vehicle defect checks.
* Provide Removals training & development to Operational staff members
* Coach staff on an ongoing basis.
* Help identify problem areas and be instrumental in the solution.
* Implementation of Health & Safety Regulations and conducting of Risk Assessments.
* Coach and train on the dismantling and rebuild of furniture.

* Able to brief and debrief move teams and take any necessary action.
* Good geographic knowledge of the UK.
* Knowledge of working time directive.
* Knowledge and compliance of ‘O’ Licence regulations
* Handyman duties - Confident ability in the dismantling and reassembling of all furniture.
