Job Opportunity: Paint Sprayer
Location: Cheltenham
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays
Salary: £24, - £27, DOE
Job Duties:
Production:
1. Follow technical paint instructions/processes meticulously
2. Meet production targets consistently
3. Apply prime finish and top finish coatings proficiently
4. Load/unload components efficiently
5. Perform associated paint/processing functions/processes diligently
Communicating:
6. Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving
7. Report unresolved issues promptly to the line manager
8. Share technical knowledge with team members
9. Participate in external audits (e.g., Nadcap, BSI, customers) and internal process improvement programs
Knowledge and Understanding:
10. Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents accurately
11. Familiarity with AS/Nadcap standards
12. Knowledge of first-off inspection procedures
13. Basic spraying skills are required, with training provided as necessary; attention to detail is crucial
Compliance:
14. Adhere strictly to production, safety, and quality procedures
15. Complete daily compliance checks meticulously
Experience/Knowledge:
16. Understanding of AS and, where applicable, Nadcap
17. Numerical proficiency
18. Experience in aerospace/automotive paint spraying with knowledge of paint application procedures
Personal Attributes/Other Requirements:
19. Ability to work accurately with keen attention to detail
20. Strong communication and organisational skills
