Job Description The Project Officer will assist in the effective delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed standards. The role involves supporting project management processes, engaging with stakeholders, and aligning outcomes with Health and Social Care’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities To work with other members of the team to implement key elements of the Strategic Delivery Plan and Financial Delivery Plan, ensuring improvement to service delivery/ financial effectiveness. Lead on some action plans arising from the overall programme plan ensuring agreed milestones and timescales are achieved. To provide professional advice, support and guidance to service contacts. To assist senior managers in communication and engagement regarding projects as appropriate, and update on progress of the programme and delivery of agreed outcomes. The Individual Proven experience in working on projects and delivering outcomes successfully. Proven experience of analysing complex information in order to identify opportunities for improvements. Experience working with programmes. HND in related subject Thorough understanding of programme and project management. Self confident, self motivated and able to work independently. Effective research and analysis skills Excellent communication and presentation skills – oral and written Ability to respond to competing demands, prioritise self and work on own initiative Ability to use Microsoft Office inc Word, Excel, Powerpoint or equivalent Ability to prepare detailed reports and project/budget plans Demonstrable critical analysis skills. Ability to evaluate risk and potential impacts Broad understanding of all aspects of Health and Social Care Ability to negotiate and influence others Ability to gain trust of stakeholders and take a collaborative approach Ability to work accurately and to accept responsibility You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray and occasionally outside of the area to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car/van.
