Salary - £25k - £30k (DOE) HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to work in-house and remotely providing bookkeeping, payroll, and admin services in a busy accountancy practice.
The practice is a friendly, relaxed and growing team that works with a varied portfolio of small and medium sized clients from professional consulting and charity sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
General bookkeeping for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
VAT preparation and returns
Competent posting prepayments and accruals
Preparing management accounts
Processing clients payroll
Completing CIS returns
Providing general support to clients and the team
Onboarding clients
Dealing with HMRC as required by email and phoneExperience:
Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
Payroll: 1 year (required)
Vat Returns: 1 year (required)
Working in an Accountancy Practice: 1 year (required)
You must have experience using cloud-based software, preferably XeroKey Attributes:
Well organised and can work to deadlines
Good IT skills
