Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PDI Technician at our Preparation Centre Site in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Shift Pattern: 4 days on 4 off, 6am-6pm, 38.5 hours a week
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Carry out pre-delivery inspections on used vehicles to company and manufacturer standards.
Identify and report vehicle faults or defects, advising on the necessary repairs.
Complete routine servicing, including oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and general maintenance tasks.
Perform basic mechanical repairs, such as brake pad and brake lining replacements.
Use diagnostic tools where appropriate to support vehicle assessments.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
A Bit About You
Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified
Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
Good communication skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
Dealers experience preferable but not essential
