Job Description
The Leakage Data Analyst is responsible for the analysis of company assets, the interrogation of company flows & pressures and the production of daily, weekly, and monthly reports in line with functional procedures and audit requirements. It will incorporate an in depth analysis of information, production of statistics and report generation for Leakage Services to facilitate the achievement of leakage targets, KPIs, water balances and regulatory reporting. Consistently ranked in the top 10 of Northern Ireland’s best 100 companies, NI Water delivers approximately 605 million litres of clean, safe drinking water to 900,000 households and businesses across Northern Ireland every day. We collect approximately 373 million litres of wastewater per day from around 736,000 households and organisations connected to the sewerage system and transfer it to a works where it is treated and disposed
of safely. About the role:
1. £30,634 per annum
2. Location: Ballykeel Office, 188 Larne Road, Ballymena (hybrid after 3 months, 50/50)
3. Monday - Friday
4. 37 hours per week,
5. Duration: Temporary for 9 - 12 months (maternity cover)
6. Hours: Full-time,
Key responsibilities:
7. Deliver timely Leakage Services information to comply with functional KPI’s and Regulatory Standards and to contribute to the monitoring, analysis and input of data to facilitate Regulatory and NI Water Leakage Reporting.
8. Management of all Leakage Data Management Unit (DMU) flow and pressure data logging equipment
9. Logger configuration and asset set up including data transfer assurance from logger to NI Water’s telemetry system and through to Netbase.
10. This includes the management, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, of loggers within the network and encompasses
11. Liaison with logger suppliers, NIW IT and Telemetry contacts.
12. Management of workstreams of all DMU Technicians related to all network flows and pressures
13. Continuous Logger User (CLU) management and consumption analysis.
14. Management and stock control for meter pulse units, leads, connectors and all sundries.
Criteria:
15. Have a relevant 3rd Level qualification in science, engineering and/or mathematics (or a similar discipline which has a significant mathematical content
16. Have a minimum 2 years’ experience in the management, analysis and control of business data to identify problems and produce solutions
17. Experience working within a team to produce results
18. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI
Have technical knowledge, skills and experience across corporate data systems which may include Leakage Management software, GIS, Mobile Work Management, customer or asset datasets
