What you’ll do
* Provide support to finance staff across the organisation
* Budget forecasting and financial analysis
* Review and create accruals
* Develop costings for business cases
* Track and record contract costs
* Use specialist financial systems
Eligibility and selection
* UK residency for the last five years
* Security Check (SC) clearance required
* Right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship
* GCSE maths and English (grade 4 or above)
* Bachelor’s or higher degree (minimum 2:1)
* Pass online assessment stage
Assessment and selection process
Interactive online assessments (20–30 minutes) followed by an assessment centre at DE&S headquarters (Jan–Feb 2026). Attendance is required in person – virtual participation is not available. Candidates will undergo an interview, group activity, and a group presentation.
The order of merit will determine provisional offers (Feb 2026). Successful candidates will undergo onboarding (March–Aug 2026) and pre‑employment checks.
