Data Protection Coordinator
Location: Hybrid, Bradford (1 day a month in the office with occasional travel to other offices)
Salary: £32,433 per annum, permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
We are responsible for supporting thousands of customers and families across the UK. The Data Protection Coordinator will play a central role in ensuring compliance with data protection legislation, handling information rights requests and fostering a culture of accountability.
Responsibilities
* Manage information rights requests, including SARs and STAIRs
* Monitor and support the management of data breaches
* Act as a go‑to resource for data protection queries across the business
* Deliver guidance, training, and practical support to colleagues
* Help embed a culture of compliance, accountability and best practice
Qualifications
* Good understanding of data protection legislation and experience handling SARs and information rights requests
* Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Proactive, inquisitive mindset and willingness to seek out answers
* Confidence to engage with colleagues at all levels and build trusted relationships
* Commitment to doing the right thing and helping others understand why it matters
