Role: CoPilot Architect Location: London
Role Summary
As a Senior Architect You will define and drive HCLTech’s strategy for Microsoft 365 CoPilot and Agentic AI—serving as the principal architect for our highest-value clients. You’ll craft enterprise-scale CoPilot ecosystems, influence vendor roadmaps with Microsoft and OpenAI, and shape governance and best practices across our AI & Cloud Native Labs network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Architecture & Vision
a. Establish the Centre of Excellence’s reference architecture for Copilot and Agentic AI, supporting multi-tenant, multi-region deployments.
b. Align CoPilot and adjacent AI frameworks (Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, ServiceNow Agentforce) with HCLTech’s global transformation goals.
2. Executive & Client Advisory
a. Advise C-suite and board-level stakeholders on CoPilot-driven business cases, ROI models, and adoption roadmaps.
b. Lead workshops and steering committees to translate AI capabilities into strategic imperatives.
3. Vendor Ecosystem Leadership
a. Forge strategic alliances with Microsoft CoPilot engineering, OpenAI research, Google Cloud AI, AWS AI, and ServiceNow teams.
b. Influence product roadmaps by providing enterprise requirements and market insights.
4. Governance, Compliance & Risk
a. Define and enforce governance frameworks covering data privacy (GDPR/UK GDPR), security accreditation, and ethical-AI standards.
b. Oversee risk assessments and certifications, ensuring all deployments meet regulatory mandates.
5. Thought Leadership & External Engagement
a. Represent HCLTech at industry forums and government panels; publish whitepapers and speak at conferences.
b. Drive the creation of flagship thought-leadership assets that position HCLTech as a premier authority on Copilot and Agentic AI.
6. Capability Development & Mentorship
a. Lead and mentor a global community of architects and engineers through design clinics, advanced training, and certification pathways.
b. Cultivate talent and foster knowledge transfer to scale expertise across the Labs.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience: 12+ years in enterprise architecture or software engineering, including significant leadership of AI/ML platform initiatives.
• Technical Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 CoPilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, and Graph APIs.
• Multi-Vendor Integration: Proven track record integrating Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, and ServiceNow Agentforce into large-scale solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional executive presence, with experience advising public-sector and Fortune-level clients.
• Governance & Compliance: Deep understanding of GDPR/UK GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001, and ethical-AI frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Experience with AI policy bodies, standards organizations, or government advisory panels.
• Familiarity with cross-border data flows, emerging AI regulations, and open-source AI projects.
