Service Coordinator

Location: ST. HELENS

We are seeking a Service Coordinator for our service department based at Prospect House, Haydock. The role involves taking responsibility for the successful delivery of call-out and maintenance requirements of our service contract customers, supporting management and technical teams. Initiative, managing priorities, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.


Main Responsibilities

1. Be a key member of the service delivery team with excellent customer service skills.
2. Manage customer calls and email requests to plan and coordinate call-outs and maintenance requests.
3. Utilize departmental standard tools including Ganttic and Autotask for resource planning.
4. Use SAP for creating purchase orders, inputting timesheets, goods receipting, and report generation.
5. Review and provide engineers' reports to clients using standard tools.
6. Prepare quotes using standard tools.
7. Maintain calibration and tool certification records.
8. Proactively manage engineers' training records.
9. Support management with standard reporting systems such as ACTIVE.


Experience and Qualifications

* Proven experience in a similar service delivery role.
* National 5 (N5) or equivalent (Grade C or better) in English Language and Mathematics is essential.


Skills and Personal Qualities

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* IT skills, numerical, analytical skills, attention to detail, and a logical approach.
* Team player with a willingness to develop industry skills.
* Hardworking, confident, and organized.
* Experience in a similar service role is preferred.
