My client is looking for an Exams Officer to work at a School around the Tunbridge Wells area. This is a Full-time Permanent Position, and it will be working Term-time only + 2 weeks (41 weeks)- the 2 weeks will be around exams results period in August (additional time paid on claim)
Salary: Kent Range E – starting at FTE £27,852 per annum (Exact salary- £24,169.11, based on working 39 weeks per year)
They are looking to appoint an Exams Officer to supervise a well-respected Exams Department Team and deliver the successful provision for scheduled and mock exams across the whole school.
Overall Responsibility:
To be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the administration of all internal and external examinations within the school, including liaising with staff, students, invigilators and examination boards, adhering to national regulations and guidelines and an annual budget.
Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
This key position plays a pivotal role in the success of students’ progress and is a busy and varied role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior experience in the organisation and administration of both external and internal examinations including entry, delivery and analysis of data, and management of the invigilation team.
