Santander Digital Services is the team of technology and operations at Santander. We develop and/or implement financial solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies on all kinds of on-premise and cloud-based platforms.

Santander UK is looking for a Tooling, MI & Reporting Manager based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes or Glasgow.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the entire lifecycle of data within the organisation from acquisition and storage to analysis and dissemination. Responsible for ensuring that data assets are managed effectively, securely and in compliance with regulations and organisational policies. We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Designing and evolving tooling solutions and data platforms to support Operational Resilience strategy and decision-making.
* Developing and maintaining IBS resilience dashboards and visualisations, ensuring clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
* Building and delivering Pillar-level resilience metrics (KRIs) with strong data definitions, controls, and governance.
* Designing and implementing data pipelines for ingestion and integration of vulnerability data from multiple sources (e.g. VM tooling).
* Establishing data models, structures, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and traceability.
* Implementing data quality controls and validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of MI outputs.
* Enabling data-driven insights and advanced analytics to support resilience, risk identification, and strategic decision-making.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data and reporting solutions.

Professional Experience
* Experience designing and delivering data platforms, reporting solutions, or MI dashboards (Required).
* Strong experience in data engineering, data modelling, or analytics within complex environments (Required).
* Experience working with operational resilience, risk, or regulatory reporting data (Required).
* Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions (ingestion, transformation, visualisation) (Preferred).
Education
* Undergraduate degree in Data, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
* Professional certifications in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Governance frameworks (Preferred).
Languages
* English
Hard Skills
* Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration) (Required).
* Experience with data visualisation and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) (Required).
* Expertise in data modelling, data structures, and information architecture (Required).
* Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, controls, and validation techniques (Required).
* Experience with metrics design (KRIs/KPIs) and data-driven reporting frameworks (Required).
* Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) (Preferred).
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability (Required).
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights (Required).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (Required).
* Ability to lead delivery and influence across technical and business teams (Required).

Compensation and Benefits
* Salary Range: £54,000.00 - £81,000.00 per annum (depending on experience)
* 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, 31 days after 5 years, option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
