I am a happy chap who enjoys meeting other people, having a chat and a little banter. I enjoy going to Pontypridd Rugby and I am their number one supporter and would like to attend a match now and again if they are playing home. Your role will involve supporting me within the local community and suggesting places to go as I like going out and perhaps just stop for a coffee or a bite to eat. I try to remain as active as possible and I also use a manual wheelchair at times as I do get very tired, but I am needing more regular now, so potential PA will need to be able to push my wheelchair. PURPOSE OF THE JOB Main reason for the position, support me out in the community and maybe sometimes at home. RATE(S) OF PAY £14.00 per hour HOURS OF WORK 5 hours per week ideally on a Saturday but also through the week sometimes to take me to appointments. TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Reliable/Punctual Considerate/Caring/Trustworthy Friendly/Chatty Confident/Proactive Car driver/Access to a car to transport employer. ABOUT THE JOB This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority. All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins. Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period. Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
