Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for an Offshore Wireline Operator to register their interest in joining the team on the award of a large upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience in a similar Wireline-related role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidates to join on a long term P&A Campaign. This will be an adhoc offshore role, joining on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties/Responsibilities: Participate in preparation and execution of Wireline work. Lead safety culture with focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other Archer personnel. Contribute to the preparation of equipment checking that all necessary equipment is in place for required operations and any shortfalls alerted to the job supervisor in a prompt manner. Contribute to the maintenance of tools and equipment. Report all deviations arising during operations and report these to the Wireline Supervisor. Overlap and ensure experience transfer with the Wireline Operator on the opposite shift. Keep the work-container, the winch, and surroundings, clean and tidy. Participate in offshore activities as upgrading of equipment, maintenance and checking of equipment. Contribute to maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all equipment offshore and ensuring any shortfalls are highlighted and requested through the job supervisor to be mobilized at the nearest opportunity. Participate in loadout process of equipment for specified jobs, if required by line manager. Requirements: Technical degree, apprenticeship or qualification preferred. Experience in a similar offshore wireline related role is essential. Be able to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings or documentation. Right to work in the UK is essential.
