The Enterprise Reconciliation & Balance Sheet Integrity organization is seeking a detail‑oriented Analyst to support the E‑RADAR RTB Team in a range of Controls and Reporting processes in support of Balance Sheet Exception Reporting (BSER). The successful candidate will maintain the BSER Classification Control, a critical governance process ensuring accurate classification, reporting, and oversight of SMB/IC Operations reconciliations. The role is responsible for analysing reconciliation data, investigating classification changes, engaging with Operations stakeholders, and supporting governance decision‑making to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance. The role will also offer exposure to the bi‑weekly cycle of the BSER Production which is sent to Senior Global stakeholders as well as other ad‑hoc reporting owned by the team.
What you’ll do
* Execute weekly BSER classification control activities in line with established procedures.
* Analyze reconciliation data to identify new items, classification changes, and exceptions and liaise closely with stakeholders across Operations and Control Partners globally.
* Work effectively within a team, always ensuring readiness to provide updates on investigations, communicate known risks, and agree resolution plans where appropriate.
* Provide support to wider RTB team for reporting responsibilities related to Citi’s Balance Sheet reporting.
* Support governance reviews, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives within E‑RADAR RTB team.
* May occasionally provide informal guidance or on‑the‑job‑training to new team members.
* Use existing AI solutions to drive innovation and reduction in MTP’s across processes owned by team.
* Analyst should have knowledge of PowerPoint and experience of compiling presentations utilizing various sources of data to be presented to Senior Management on a regular basis.
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we need from you
* Relevant experience.
* Requires attention to detail when making judgments based on the analysis of factual information. Knowledge of MS Excel/ AI / PowerPoint advantageous.
* Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
* Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
