Paralegal - Serious Injury - Sheffield (5819)
Join Irwin Mitchell’s Serious Injury team in Sheffield and play a key role in supporting clients with serious brain, spinal cord and other complex injuries.
Responsibilities
* Provide legal support to qualified Case Handlers across a wide range of serious injury cases.
* Manage client queries quickly, efficiently and with empathy.
* Progress cases independently under supervision and as part of a team.
* Liaise with clients and medical professionals in person, by phone and in writing.
* Arrange meetings, seek medical reports and chase information with sensitivity and professionalism.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrable paralegal experience (desirable).
* A clear interest in serious injury work.
* Strong ability to work on own initiative.
* Empathy and compassion in guiding clients through challenging circumstances.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to work 2 days per week in the Sheffield office.
* Appropriate holiday entitlement (25 days + bank holidays, with option to buy up to 35 hours extra).
