We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join a dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. You will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets our exacting standards. This role requires a combination of creativity, precision, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
* Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauces, pastry)
* Manage and train junior kitchen staff within your section.
* Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in an excellent and timely manner.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
* Ability to manage a specific section of the kitchen efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
