The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Transport Manager to take ownership of transport operations at a busy, multi-site logistics company based in Essex.
Managing a fleet of 20-40 vehicles, you'll oversee multi-drop, groupage, and general haulage operations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and service delivery.
You'll lead, coach, and develop a skilled team of Transport Planners and drivers - bringing out the best in your people and driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily transport operations across multiple UK sites.
Lead and develop a team of Transport Planners and operational staff.
Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and Operator Licence requirements.
Oversee planning, routing, and vehicle utilisation for multi-drop and groupage services.
Deliver operational excellence, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Foster a motivated, high-performing team culture.
About You
Manager CPC qualification - ESSENTIAL
Experience managing a multi-drop, groupage, or general haulage operation.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Commercially astute, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and performance improvement.

Due to continued success and growth - including a recent move into a new facility at London Gateway - an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Transport Manager to take a leading role in their next phase of expansion.
What's on Offer
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
Holidays: 30 days (rising to 33 with service)
