Spectrum's retained client is a multi-billion-dollar revenue global service provider to both consumers and businesses.
The UK operation is a £100m+ annual revenue organisation. It provides services directly to customers every day from its many branches dotted around the country.
Although it's a traditional service-based business, digital is the primary channel for our client's customers to make and manage their bookings.
Now, we are seeking a high-quality, robust, experienced MD/GM/CEO to propel growth in the UK business, whilst, importantly, also maintaining a laser-like focus on operational cost and efficiency.
Suitable candidates will be well-rounded general managers (i.e. can drive top-line growth whilst controlling costs) from a multi-branch / multi-site environment - such as retail, hospitality, leisure, etc. - and from a business with a track record of revenue growth in excess of £80m.
This role will provide an opportunity to join a well-regarded (if under-recognised) brand in the UK.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in matrixed organisation structures. Despite the matrix, the UK MD will have very considerable autonomy.
In today's world of online reviews, delivering a high-quality service time and again will also be essential.
