Experienced Purchasing Co‑ordinator – Fixed Term Opportunity at Certikin Certikin is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and proactive Purchasing Co‑ordinator to join our Purchasing team on a fixed‑term basis (6-9 months). This is a key role supporting the day‑to‑day purchasing operation, ensuring goods and services are procured in a timely and cost‑effective manner. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to help maintain smooth and efficient operations across the business. Your responsibilities: Support the Purchasing team with day‑to‑day purchasing activities Track purchase orders through to delivery, ensuring best possible lead times Investigate and resolve discrepancies across orders, deliveries, and invoices Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, including correct commodity codes and import duties Review daily goods‑received reports and action any issues promptly Support Buying and Stock teams by maintaining accurate system data, including: Creating new SKUs Updating product details such as weights, costs, descriptions, and commodity codes Manage enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner Liaise with suppliers regarding lead times, pricing, and general enquiries Communicate regular updates on order status, delivery times, and costs to relevant stakeholders Carry out general administrative tasks, including ordering stationery, groceries, and company uniforms To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following: Previous experience within a Buying or Purchasing environment Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with a proactive approach Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software About Certikin Certikin is a leading supplier of pool and spa products in the UK.
