About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with frequent travel around the Leicestershire and Midlands region.
Pay is £35,000 per annum plus £5,000 car allowance.

As a L&D Facilitator at HC-One, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning across our care homes. You will deliver engaging and interactive training, support home-based coaching initiatives, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our colleagues have the skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standard of care to our residents. Your contribution will directly impact the professional development of our teams and improve the quality of care we provide.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate dynamic, interactive learning sessions that inspire and empower care staff.
* Deliver training using diverse methods including in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and blended learning approaches.
* Create inclusive, collaborative learning environments that encourage critical thinking and skill mastery.
Support and Coaching
* Provide one-on-one and group coaching to reinforce learning and promote professional growth.
* Build supportive relationships with care homes to understand their unique learning needs and improve care delivery.
* Support and mentor colleagues in coaching roles within the homes, such as Safer People Handling Coaches.
Learning Program Development
* Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skills and knowledge gaps.
* Collaborate with the Operational L&D Manager and team to design, develop, and implement tailored learning programs.
* Create engaging and effective training materials using instructional design expertise.
Professional Development
* Promote a culture of lifelong learning and continuous professional development.
* Implement innovative learning initiatives to support staff development.
* Ensure staff stay current with compliance and industry regulations.
Evaluation & Improvement
* Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions through assessments and feedback.
* Use data to enhance learning strategies and ensure measurable improvements.
* Monitor staff progress and support ongoing development through coaching.
Strategic Collaboration
* Work with stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organisational goals.
* Address specific learning needs of each home to close skills gaps.
* Drive positive outcomes for colleagues and residents through strategic interventions.

About You
You have proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs, hold relevant qualifications, and possess excellent facilitation and coaching skills. You are familiar with adult learning principles, instructional design, and have experience with compliance in health and social care. This role involves extensive travel and overnight stays, planned in advance. Safeguarding training is mandatory, and you must be able to recognize and report concerns appropriately.
