You should have experience in primary care with a background as a Paramedic, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Practitioner.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will handle a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring high standards of care for both registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, the post-holder will be available for face-to-face and telephone consultations.
Make professional, autonomous decisions regarding presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the practice.
Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, screen for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, and develop care plans in consultation with patients, following current practice disease management protocols.
Prescribe and issue prescriptions or be willing to undertake training courses if required.

Job responsibilities
Working hours are 08:00-18:00 on Thursday and Friday, totaling 19 hours per week.
Work in the Same Day Team diagnosing and treating patients with minor illnesses and other urgent presentations, face-to-face or via telephone.
Request and interpret tests such as blood tests, imaging, and ECGs to aid diagnosis of complex conditions.
Refer patients to colleagues as needed.
Use various consultation techniques, including in-person consultations and remote assessments using technology.
Participate in practice meetings.

Experience
* Experience of clinical work in general practice and/or urgent care services
