Learning Support Assistant - Lymington
Academics are seeking dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in the New Forest area. These are full-time roles available immediately, with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent.
The school supports pupils aged 7 to 19 with Asperger's syndrome and a range of autism spectrum conditions. You will provide support both one-to-one and in small groups across the school.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with children who have special educational needs, preferably in an SEN setting. We're looking for compassionate, patient individuals who can manage challenging behaviours effectively, think quickly, and adapt to changing situations.
Working here is demanding but immensely rewarding. Pupils often present with complex needs and varying levels of challenging behaviour, making this role perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
