SEMH Tutor – Gateshead
TP Tutors are looking for SEMH-focused tutors in Gateshead to support pupils who face barriers to learning due to social, emotional, or mental health needs. This rewarding role allows you to make a real difference by helping students re-engage with their education.
Responsibilities
* Delivering sessions in core subjects or tailored learning packages.
* Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.
* Adapting learning to individual emotional and behavioural needs.
* Encouraging positive engagement and resilience.
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback.
Qualifications
* Professional teaching qualifications are preferred.
* Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs.
* 2 professional references covering at least 24 months from the last 10 years.
* An enhanced child workforce DBS or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
