Administrator (Research Office) – York St. John University
A part‑time permanent role of approximately 14.8 hours per week, based at the York campus.
Salary
£25,804 – £26,707 per annum (pro rata £10,321 – £10,682)
Responsibilities
The post holder will:
* Support Heads of School, School Research and Knowledge Transfer Leads, the Head of Research Office and PGR School Manager, and all academic staff and students with aspects of the University's research activities.
* Work closely with other members of the Research Office to deliver the University's Framework for Research and Innovation and achieve research objectives.
* Provide general administration within the office.
Key Requirements
* Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Experience developing, enhancing and documenting administrative systems and procedures.
* Ability to provide advice and guidance to academic and administrative colleagues at all levels.
* Passion for research and excellent customer service skills.
* Right to work in the UK or able to provide evidence via alternative routes.
