Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at HycAero. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components for the aerospace sector. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering innovative solutions while ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Shift:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm / Friday 8.00am to 12.15pm
Job specification
* Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings.
* Producing CNC programmes from customer drawings.
* Ability to inspect own work to drawings.
* CNC Programming and Operating Systems.
* Aerospace requirements / standards, tolerancing and controls.
* General high standard of Engineering ability.
* Maintain your area to a high standard of 5S.
Person Specification
* Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience of CNC Milling and Turning.
* Ability to programme, set and operate different machine tools.
* Adept with HAAS controls (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience within the Aerospace industry.
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of different materials.
