O'Neill and Brennan are currently working with a well-established residential developer with a strong pipeline of schemes across East/South East London. Due to continued growth and several new projects commencing in the area, they are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of large-scale residential developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developer experiencing exciting growth in a tough market and gain exposure to all aspects of the development lifecycle within a supportive commercial team.
Role Overview
* Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
* Project: Residential New Build Development
* Location: East London
* Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package
* Start: ASAP but can wait for notice periods
* Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Supporting the commercial delivery of residential new build schemes
* Managing subcontract procurement, variations and valuations
* Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts
* Working closely with operational and technical teams throughout delivery
* Managing subcontractor accounts and package performance
Requirements
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Project QS within residential construction
* Developer or main contractor background considered
* Strong understanding of procurement and commercial processes
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experiece managing sizeable subcontract xsngvjr packages
