We have an exciting role on offer within our Highways Infrastructure and Fleet Services as a Driver Assessor and Fleet Compliance Officer.
About Us
We are currently seeking to appoint a Driver Assessor/Fleet Compliance Officer to join our team in Fleet Services.
To be successful in this role you need knowledge of Road Transport Legislation and will ideally have experience within a similar commercial or logistics environment. You will be required to have or be willing to work towards gaining Vehicle Operators CPC qualifications, to become a nominated transport manager on the council’s goods vehicle operator’s licence. You will need to have high levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm and possess relevant skills and qualifications to manage a challenging workload. You must also be willing to undertake relevant training that is deemed necessary to meet the duties and responsibilities of the post. A full current UK driving licence with class 2 entitlement is essential for this role.
You will have a responsibility for assessing driver performance to ultimately ensure that our drivers have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitude to conduct their duties legally, safely and competently.
