Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with strong HVAC expertise to join our Building Services team. This role involves ensuring the effective delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance across site facilities, contributing to the maintenance and development of our client facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver safe and effective planned and reactive maintenance across all mechanical and HVAC systems.
2. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a wide range of HVAC and mechanical assets.
3. Provide technical support during critical incidents, including out-of-hours cover when required.
4. Oversee subcontractors and ensure work quality aligns with industry standards and Sodexo Engineering Standards.
5. Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and permit-to-work systems.
6. Support training and development of team members to enhance technical capabilities.
7. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Systems or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, with proven HVAC expertise.
3. Practical knowledge of engineering standards such as SFG20.
4. Strong understanding of health and safety, ideally holding IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent.
5. IT literate with experience using CAFM/CMMS systems; SAP experience is desirable.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and communicate confidently with stakeholders.
